Newcastle Ocean Baths – Opened in 1922

Nice visit to the Newcastle Ocean Baths. Google describes it as an “Outdoor 1920s ocean swimming pool with an art deco pavilion, on a promenade overlooking the beach.” and this is a perfect description. Address: 30 Shortland Esplanade, Newcastle NSW, Australia 2300 Newcastle has two ocean baths facilities, Newcastle and Merewether, which are open year-round and are both popular spots. Newcastle Ocean Baths were opened in 1922 (this video) and Merewether Baths in 1935 (my previous video: https://youtu.be/-Q-dP7zffys)
